Are Lalo products easy to clean and maintain?

How long it takes to clean your little one’s stuff is such an important thing to think about when buying (or registering) for your baby. And one of the things you’re going to have to clean the most? Your high chair.

Speaking from experience, high chairs get a lot of use, which is a good thing! But little eaters make big messes and you’re going to want to be sure your high chair cleans up easily, whether you’re deep cleaning them or just cleaning them up after a meal. Luckily, both Lalo’s Hook-On High Chair and 3-in-1 High Chair are easy to clean. Here’s how to do it.

How to clean the Lalo Hook-On High Chair

The Hook-On High Chair is easy to clean from top to bottom! For quick post-meal cleanups, simply wipe everything down with a damp cloth or sponge. I love keeping baby wipes around for this purpose, but you can also use a cloth with mild soap and water.

For a deeper clean, put the silicone tray in the dishwasher on the top rack and toss the seat cover in the wash. To clean the seat cover, simply disassemble the seat and remove it from the frame. You can machine wash the cover on cold with a gentle detergent. Just be sure to avoid products that contain bleach, and don’t dry, iron, or dry clean it. Always be sure it’s fully dry before using or storing.

How to clean the Lalo 3-in-1 High Chair

The High Chair from Lalo is also super simple to clean, no matter how big or small the mess is.

For regular after-meal messes, you can use baby wipes or a wet sponge or cloth with mild dish soap to wipe down the seat, straps, and tray.

If you’re in need of a deeper clean, remove the tray and put it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Then, remove the silicone straps and put them into the dishwasher, too. It couldn’t be easier!

5 Ways to Make Toddler Mealtime Easier

Cleaning your high chair:

Cleaning your high chair should not be a difficult process if you buy a good quality high chair made from thoughtful design. Parent made products understand what parents need, and Lalo is a brand that creates products by and for parents for this very reason.

FAQS:

How often should I clean my baby’s high chair?
A quick wipe-down after every meal is ideal to keep things hygienic and prevent buildup. For a deeper clean, aim for once a week (or more often if things get extra messy).

Do high chairs with fewer seams and crevices clean better?
Yes, design matters. High chairs with smooth surfaces and minimal nooks make it easier to wipe away messes quickly, which is a huge win during busy mealtimes.

How long does it take to clean a high chair?
A quick wipe-down can take less than a minute, while a deep clean might take 10 to15 minutes depending on how many parts you’re washing. The right design can make all the difference.

What should I avoid when cleaning my baby’s high chair?
Avoid abrasive scrubbers, bleach-based products, and high heat when washing fabrics. These can wear down materials and shorten the life of your high chair.

What’s the best way to clean sticky or dried-on food?
Let a damp cloth sit on the spot for a minute or two to loosen things up, then wipe clean. For tougher messes, a little mild dish soap goes a long way.
