Official Rules: The Giant Coloring Sheet Showdown

Eligibility

The Giant Coloring Sheet Showdown ("Contest") is open to persons who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Employees of Lalo ("Sponsor"), their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, siblings, children, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of residence) or those living in the same household of such persons are not eligible to participate.

Entry Period

Entries open at 12:01 a.m. ET on September 22, 2025 and close at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 5, 2025.
Voting will remain open until 11:59 p.m. ET on October 12, 2025.
Winners will be announced on October 15, 2025.

How to Enter

1. Create Original Artwork

   • Artwork must be original and created by the entrant (or together with their child).

   • Must be black-and-white line drawings suitable for coloring.

   • Use black marker on white paper for best results.

   • No traced, copied, or licensed characters (e.g., TV, movie, or branded characters).

2. Submit Artwork

   • Upload via the official entry form. 
     

3. File Requirements

   • Accepted formats: JPEG or PNG.

   • Clear scans or photos of artwork only.

Entries received after the deadline will not be eligible. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. One submission per email address allowed.

By submitting artwork, entrant represents and warrants that the artwork is original, not copied from any third party or copyrighted work, and that entrant has all rights needed to grant Sponsor the license. Entrant agrees to indemnify Sponsor for any claims arising from breach of these warranties.

Winner Selection

• Top 5 Winners ("Lalo Creators") will be determined by public vote. The five entries receiving the highest number of votes during the voting period will be selected.

• Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules before confirming winners.

• Each person may vote once per email address per design during the voting period. In the event of a tie in votes among submissions for advancement, Sponsor will select the finalist(s) based on creativity, originality, and brand fit.

• Voter Giveaway: One (1) voter will be randomly selected from all eligible voters to win a $500 Lalo Gift Card.
  

Prizes

Grand Prize (5 Winners):

• Winning artwork turned into a limited-edition Giant Coloring Sheet sold by Lalo. Lalo reserves the right to edit designs to fit our Giant Coloring Sheet product template. 

• Artist credit: The artist’s signature will appear on the final product.

• A complete Lalo Play Kit Bundle ($479 value).

• One (1) year supply of Giant Coloring Sheets (12 packs, $335 value).

• Early shipment of the “Lalo Creators” pack of 5 winning designs.
  Total Prize Value: $814+ per winner.

Voter Prize (1 Winner):

• One (1) $500 Lalo Gift Card.

Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions or cash alternatives will be offered, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Charity

A portion of sales from the “Lalo Creators” pack will be donated to Give Kids Art, a nonprofit that provides creative opportunities to children.

General Rules

• No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

• By submitting artwork, entrants grant Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, and display the submitted artwork and associated content (including child’s first name and/or artist signature) across marketing, social media, email, advertising, packaging, and other promotional channels.

• Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or corrupted entries.

• Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and publicity release within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

• All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winner.
  

Entrants must have a valid email address, and it is entrant's responsibility to update Sponsor of any change in email address. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator on all matters relating to the Contest, which are final and binding. Winner is responsible for all local, state and federal taxes on the prize, including sales or use taxes. By participating, entrant agrees to, releases and holds the Contest Entities and their respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively "Releasees") harmless from any injury, loss or damage to person, including death, personal injury or loss or damage to property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly to the acceptance or use/misuse of a prize, participation in any promotion-related activity or participation in the Contest. By accepting a prize, winner agrees, where imposing such condition is legal, that Sponsor and their designees shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use his/her name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without further compensation, permission or notification and, upon request, will confirm consent to such use in writing. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the offer or administration of this Contest, or in the announcement of winner and prize. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between statements contained in any materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with this Contest, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Contest as planned is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Contest and award prize from among all eligible Entries received up to that date. All disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity (individually, "Claim") arising out of or relating to this Contest, the meaning or interpretation of the rules or any prize awarded shall be resolved by applying the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws provisions therein, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in the state or federal courts within that state. All Claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action and all Claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event include attorneys' fees, and under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and waives all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

Release of Liability

By participating, entrants release Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of prizes.

Privacy Policy/Data Collection:

Entrants information collected in connection with this Giveaway may be shared with Administrator to execute the Giveaway, and Administrator will use such information in accordance with Sponsor's privacy practices. Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, and to the extent Entrants may otherwise elect at the time of Entry, information provided by you for this Giveaway is subject to Sponsor's privacy policy located at https://meetlalo.com/pages/privacy-policy.

Governing Law

This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, NY.
